Pressure washing is generally safe for concrete surfaces, however, it's important to use the correct pressure setting and nozzle type to avoid damaging the surface. When done correctly, pressure washing can help to remove dirt, grime, and stains from concrete, making it look much cleaner and more attractive.
It's also possible to damage concrete by using too much pressure or the wrong nozzle. For example, using a narrow nozzle with a high-pressure setting can create a concentrated jet of water that can erode the surface of the concrete, causing pitting or other damage. Additionally, if the concrete is already damaged or cracked, pressure washing can exacerbate the problem, so be careful.
To avoid damaging concrete while pressure washing, use a wide-angle nozzle with an appropriate pressure selection, and hold the nozzle a few inches away from the surface. Use a cleaning solution designed for pressure washers, as this can help loosen dirt and grime without needing as much pressure. Finally, it's a good idea to test a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure the pressure and cleaning solution are not causing any damage to the concrete.
We use both high and low pressure to clean hard surfaces, depending on the material and what's being cleaned off. Each situation is different.
We will take the time to go through your property and detail what needs to be done and how.
Certain chemicals and/or detergents will be used to e.g kill algae or remove stains and the pressure cleaner will force off any remaining contaminant safely.
Pressure cleaning can be provided to residential, strata and commercial clients.
We know the industry is unfortunately full of rush job cowboys. It's in our long term interest to learn everything we can about pressure cleaning. We are part of professional groups who learn from each other and will all this experience, we become more and more knowledgeable week by week.
Our personal skills have been developing full time since 2013. We have great interest in this industry and it's evolving nature (tools and chemicals to become safer and more effective.)
